Rosedale Abbey is at the heart of the North York Moors National Park and Dale Cottage is at the heart of the village with a view across the village green.
The surrounding landscape of the moors and secluded dales offers some of the most spectacular countryside to be found anywhere.
The village has 2 excellent tea rooms, 2 pubs, the well known Gillies Jones glass design and manufacturing studio and a 9 hole golf course; all within walking distance of Dale Cottage.
The cottage sleeps four people, is welcoming and cosy although spacious and has a lovely private garden with views up the hillside.
